That's right you guys! This is exactly what Narique and Stephen told me when they called to let me know they had chosen me as their photographer. How could I not be excited for this wedding day! Granted we did not schedule any engagement or bridal sessions prior to the day and honestly other than a few video calls I had never met with them in person. So how was the connection so great?! Well let me tell you.

In the past I've talked about how I always preferred meeting with my couples in person prior to booking me. Unfortunately due to the pandemic that all changed forcing me to learn how to make connections virtually rather than in person.

I love a good video call with all my couples prior to them booking. This helps us in many ways. You'll learn a GREAT amount of detail and logistics about your wedding day. You will end the call feeling a sense of relief and this is exactly what I did with Narique.

We sat down via Google Meet one evening and asked her to describe her vision for her wedding day for me. I was all ears. She spoke about her fiancé Stephen, the venue (The Gardens at West Green) and her wedding day colors. I was excited with the opportunity to photograph her wedding day. I made sure I understood what her expectations were. Using my years of experience shooting weddings, we created a rough draft version of her photography timeline. This gave her a direction and made things more real. We talked about wedding party size, getting ready locations etc.

After our video call, Narique & Stephen now had the time to privately and patiently discuss budget, select the wedding collection that was most fitting to them and all they had left to do now was book their wedding day! Fast forward few days and, Narique & Stephen were booked and set for the big day!

As you'll see through these images below, everything that day was perfect. Everyone from the Bride & Groom to the friends and family were a pleasure to be around. This made my job easier. Needless to say this wedding was photographed and documented beautifully. Clean, classy, fun and unapologetic.
